Pest Control: Mosquitos

Mosquitos can ruin any summer time event.  These annoying outdoor pests not only leave you with itchy bites, but can transmit diseases including West Nile Virus, Zika Virus or Eastern Equine Encephalitis. 

Vermont has 45 species of Mosquitos. Typically, they begin to show themselves in the spring, but don’t typically pose a health risk until the summer months.  Mosquitos require just an inch of standing water to lay eggs so it is important to prevent mosquitos from breeding around your home.
